Amazon Shopper Panel 5.1.0

The Amazon Shopper Panel is an optional invitation-only program that allows participants to earn monthly rewards by completing short surveys and enabling ad verification for ads displayed by Amazon or third-party advertisers through Amazon Ads.

Participants receive monthly incentives for each completed survey or when they activate ad verification. Due to limited availability, eligibility may be restricted to certain parts of the program. Users can verify their eligibility by navigating to the surveys and ads tabs within the app.

Participation contributes to enhancing product offerings from brands and improving the relevance of Amazon’s advertising content.

• Participation in the Amazon Shopper Panel is voluntary, and members can discontinue app usage, complete surveys, or deactivate ad verification at any time.
• Amazon collects only the data explicitly shared by panelists, such as survey responses or advertisements viewed.
• Personal data is stored securely and managed in accordance with Amazon’s Privacy Notice.

With regard to VPN Service usage:

• Activating ad verification utilizes Android’s VPNService to establish a Virtual Private Network connection. The Panel does not install a VPN on your device but may use VPN permissions to configure an Amazon DNS (https://panel.amazon.de/#faq-how-panel-using-ads).
• This setup allows Amazon to collect information about ads viewed through the platform, including both Amazon’s own advertising and third-party ads via Amazon Ads.
• Establishing the Amazon DNS is not necessary for activating other Panel functions. Users can opt out of ad verification at any time.
